On November 21, 2025 during the second semester, our group was founded. With assistance from our coaches and past journalists from our school, our group is ready for what DSPC (Division’s Schools Press Conference) will give.

Despite facing challenges of school and training, our group has remained steadfast in giving the best news throughout the region. Our digital content spans a diverse range of news, features, opinions, sports, cartoons, and video segments.

Grounded in the belief in the freedom of the press, our regional branch, has chose to go on a path to not only deliver news to the Region but to the Nationals.

Remaining steadfast in our commitments, “The Advocate”  proudly announce themselves as a site that gives the best news. We uphold the core tenets of debunking falsehoods, amplifying truths, safeguarding truth-tellers, and raising awareness throughout the Philippines.

As a youth-led organization, “The Advocate” has fostered a movement of young journalists dedicated to driving societal change through journalism. Even through the challenges facing the media today, our website remains steadfast in its mission to provide a platform for young journalists to hone their skills, combat misinformation, deliver essential news to the public, and uphold democratic freedoms. Our group offers skill-building and field-development opportunities through immersive journalistic training programs.

Through community engagement initiatives, “The Advocate” amplifies the voices of small communities, ensuring their stories are not only heard but given the attention they deserve.

Despite its young team of editors and staff, the organization has consistently championed press freedom, journalistic empowerment, and community involvement.
